Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Cook's Barbershop has served Grantsville since 1993, and we want every customer to be able to find our hours, see our prices, and book. We follow accessibility best practices and keep improving the site as we add to it.

What we have done

• Text alternatives for photos, so screen readers describe what is shown.
• Readable text and color contrast.
• Full keyboard use, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
• Labeled form fields with clear error messages.
• Proper headings and page landmarks so the site is easy to navigate with assistive technology.
• Works at 200 percent zoom and on small phone screens.
• Respects the "reduce motion" setting on your device.
• A "Pause stripe animation" button in the footer stops the moving barber-pole stripe. It is a keyboard-reachable button, and it pauses the stripe for mouse, keyboard and touch alike.
• No accessibility overlay widgets. The site itself is built to be accessible.

The standard we follow

This website was built following WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility guidelines. We follow accessibility best practices, but we cannot guarantee that every page will meet every standard at every moment.

Known limitations

• The Google map loads only when you ask for it, and it is run by Google. The address and a directions link are always shown as plain text.
• Online booking is run by Setmore, a separate company, and opens in a new tab. If it is hard to use, call 435-884-0953 and we will book you by phone.

Tell us if something does not work

If you have trouble with any part of this site, contact us and tell us the page and what happened. We will help you directly, offer another way to get what you need (for example, booking by phone), and fix the problem where we can.
